FACTS
Obesity rates have doubled in adults and children and tripled in teens over
the last twenty years. Two-thirds of Americans are now overweight or obese. Diabetesrates have risen 60% in the United States over the last decade and half of the
cases are due to weight, poor diet and lack of physical activity. Cardiovascular
Disease is the leading cause of death around the world today. CVD is a collective
term used to describe the diseases of the heart and blood vessels such as atherosclerosis,
hypertension and coronary heart disease. "The Truth" is that we can
personally prevent and treat the above mentioned diseases via good nutrition
& physical activity without the use of medication. "The Trick" is
learning how and time is the answer. It takes time (6-8 weeks) to create new
habits.
